Big Concept: Ways to Realize Artificial Intelligence Topic: Various Methods to Make a Computer Think and Act Bloom's Taxonomy: remember, understand Learning Goal: Deliver a clear lecture explaining the following five common approaches to build artificial intelligence: rule-based systems, expert systems, machine learning, deep learning, and large language model. Let students know the definition and basic principle of each of the approaches, how they are the same or different, and typical scenarios to use each of them. Also let students know the brief history of artificial intelligence with the development of these five approaches. Make sure that the typical scenarios contain practical applications that can be understood by everyone without a technical background.
